Indigo Workshop - Summer 2026

Join us for a morning practicing the art of natural dyeing in the beautiful Orleans, Cape Cod, Massachusetts!

We will sip on iced coffees, learn about the process of natural dyeing with Indigofera tinctoria, an indigo species native to southern India, and get hands on to make our own beach tote bags! This dye will yield a range of light to dark blues, depending on the materials we dye, the order and timing of the vat, and how many dips we do for each piece.

You may also bring up to 3 items of your own to upcycle. Please note, they must be natural fibers - cotton, linen, silk, or wool, and please bring them clean of dirt and oils.

What you will leave with:
-1x naturally dyed tote bag
-Up to 3 upcycled pieces of your own wardrobe
-A recipe for a 5-gallon indigo vat
-A jar of natural indigo for dyeing at home
-A full heart and new friends
